Terri is an expert at capturing the bond between seniors and their horses, with hundreds of equestrian senior sessions under her belt throughout the DFW area. Whether you're active in Eventing, Hunter-Jumpers, Dressage, All-Around, Barrel Racing, Rodeo events—or just want beautiful portraits with your beloved horse—Terri has the experience and passion to bring your vision to life.
Based in Denton County, she serves all of North Texas and is available for travel anywhere in the U.S. Let’s create something unforgettable with you and your horse!
Plan
Once we’ve settled on a date, received your retainer, and your contract is signed, it’s time to plan! If you’ve selected a collection, Terri will send out a welcome package that includes a magazine designed to answer most of your initial questions.
Senior sessions are often booked weeks or even months in advance, and during that time, Terri is always available to guide you through the process. One of the most common questions she gets is about wardrobe choices. You can use what you already own, shop for something new, rent pieces from online vendors, or even borrow from Terri’s Client Closet.
No matter your style or preference, Terri is here to make planning easy and stress-free.
The Session

You’ve envisioned this session, so don’t hesitate to share your ideas with Terri—she wants to hear them! Of course, if you're not sure, no worries—Terri will come prepared with plenty of ideas to make your session amazing.
You can include a variety of poses—with or without your horse. Want to bring your car, your best friend, or your dog? Absolutely! With a little planning, we can make it all happen. Terri’s efficient workflow ensures you get a wide variety of looks in a short amount of time.
Not sure how to pose? That’s totally okay! Terri will give you a quick posing lesson and guide you every step of the way. She’ll even demo flattering poses to help you feel confident and look your best. With years of experience and a passion for great portraits, she’ll help make your session fun and stress-free.

Terri begins working on your images as soon as she can, so keep an eye out for a sneak peek on social media! Her editing style leans toward natural and realistic tones, but every now and then, an image speaks to her in a way that calls for something a bit more dramatic.
Turnaround times can vary depending on the season, but she always aims to get your images back to you as quickly as possible. Most collections include digital images, but if you're dreaming of wall art or albums, Terri has access to top-tier professional labs and would love to help you create beautiful, lasting art from your session. She can even assist with designing gallery wall groupings and stays up to date with the latest trends in photography products.
