Kira | Argyle Senior Session with Her Horse.
Kira has been on my model team for several years now. She has a beautiful smile, great style and the camera loves her. And can you tell she loves pink? We did several sessions her senior year at different locations is the DFW area. We did some at the historical downtown Carrolton, Perry Farm and them at her horse’s trainer near Lake Worth.
Reagan & Amber | Young Cowgirl Equestrian Session
Reagan is the cutest! I needed to do some product shots and she volunteered . Of course we did some shots for fun.
J'cee Faith | Route 66 Senior Session | West Texas
Traveling to other destinations can be challenging sometimes. Areas I am not familiar with, different light and landscape. J’cee’s mom told me she wanted to do the session in their town. I had no idea it was along Route 66! The old buildings and ag museum were perfect! I photographed J’cee older sister few years again, but loved they had totally different looks. Both had horses, since both are heavily involved in 4-H and FFA.
Michael | Senior Session on the Denton Square
I photographed Michael’s older sister a few years ago for her graduation from UNT. It is always an honor when I am asked to photograph a younger sibling.
The Denton Square is another location where I love to photograph, so I was happy when Michael and his mother decided on it when I gave them several options. So many backdrops, colors and textures!
Funny story: when Michael and his family came to view his images, his sister “ooh’d” and “aah’d” during the slide show, and told him how cute and adorable he was numerous times. Michael never really reacted to any of these comments. When it was over, I turned to Michael and asked if that was normal. He just nodded his head yes in a somewhat defeated, but flattered way. Love to see family that close.
Melina | Class of 2020 | McKinney Texas
I seem to be photographing a lot on the McKinney Square. I don’t mind at all, as I am always finding new hidden gems and fun backdrops. We started Melina’s session out at the historic square and ended the session at her barn in Prosper so she could do some photos with her horse, Jackson. Melina wore a fabulous high-low red dress and I am so glad she wore it at both locations.
Madelynn | Senior Portraits with a Bohemian Vibe | McKinney Texas
Madelynn has been one of my High School Models for several years now. She wanted a regular session on top of the other sessions I do for my models. Her mom rented the cutest VW van, which is Madelynn’s dream vehicle. Madelynn is a former North Texas High School Rodeo Queen, so she has that western style, but she added a little more of a Bohemian edge to this shoot to match the props and location. The shoot was located on the Historic McKinney Square. I also included a few images from a couple other photos sessions we’ve done. We have one more shoot coming up in the Spring of 2020!
Merry Christmas 2019 | Horse Wreath Portriats
Every year I do Christmas Wreath Mini Sessions in the North Texas area. I visit a lot of barns, ranches and stables. These are some of my favorite sessions to do and look forward to them every year. If you are interested for a 2020 session, they start in late September.

Lianna | Equestrian and Equine Photo Session
We actually did several different equine sale photo sessions for Big Time Cat “Smokey”—One session for conformation and head shots. We came back later to do some pasture images and cattle working shots. During our last session, we also did some videography. Unfortunately there was a strong storm front moving in and we tried our best to finish before it arrived, but didn’t quite make it. Though it did make for a cool video with dust blowing across the arena!

Josie & Taylor | Best Friends Senior Session
I love doing two senior sessions at the same time, especially when they are close friends that share the same equestrian passion. Although it was a very hot day we had a ton of laughs. We did some photos of both of them together and plenty of them individually. Their individual blogs with be up next week. One of the best things about doing sessions like this, is it gives each of them more time to change to their next outfits and time to cool off, making it a very relaxed and unhurried experience.
Jennifer & Deniro | Equestrian Portraits | Argyle Texas
I did a quick session for this pair when I was doing a couple senior sessions at Summerhill Stables near Bartonville, Texas. It was going to be a Black Background session for Deniro, but also a few with Jennifer.
Kelsey & Kis Me Im Sensational | APHA World Champions
Kelsey just completed her last Youth World Show and sadly was putting her horse Itchy up for sale. Both had a successful final show by winning a American Youth Paint Horse World Championship and many other awards. Kelsey & Itchy shows under the guidance of Kristin Layher Show Horses Aubrey Texas.

Argyle Family Pictures | Family Portrait Month
Did you know that October is the official Family Portrait Month. With so many families getting a head start on holiday planning having a professional photographer to do your family session is getting more and more popular. Much less stressful to get a jump on one last task before the Christmas rush. It also has some of the best weather, leaves are still on the trees and depending on where you live, you might have some beautiful fall colors.
I have doing the Dryden Family’s photos for many years. Ranch photos, Senior portraits, dog portraits, equine & equestrian photos, but this was the first time to do the whole family together.
Christina | Arlington Senior Pictures in the Country
Christina is very active at her Arlington High School and loves horses. She used my own personal horse, Pebbles, for her session. We also combined her favorite canine companion in the session too. Everyone deserves someone that looks at you the way her dog looks at Christina. Not to limit her images to her loves, we also added her talents which included her violin and she demo’ed a high kick, which really wowed me,
Brynna & Frankie | Springtime Equestrian Portraits | Celina Texas
Bryanna & Frankie train out of Stoney Glen and was a winner of one of my gift certificate I donated to the Dallas Hunter Jumper Scholarship Banquet. The weather was not very cooperative with heavy rains or gale force winds on the days we scheduled and rescheduled 4 times! welcome to Texas in the spring. we finally had a date that the weather was forgiving to us. Already started to get hot and humid, but we made it work.
The wait was worth it as Brynna was a natural in front of the camera, giving so many different looks and expressions it was hard for me to narrow down the favorites. Loving her pony as much as she does, doesn’t hurt either. They make a great team and you can tell Frankie loves and trust her completely.
Alyssa & Shane | Western Engagement Session
Alyssa & Shane where the perfect couple! Shane cracking jokes and Alyssa had everything perfectly planned made it a fun and smoothly running session. They wanted to include their dogs which sometimes can be difficult with multiple dogs, but all where so well behaved made it easy. Since they are getting married at their ranch in Milshap, Shane built a “hitching post” were they will have the ceremony and of course we used it for their Engagement session. Gave it a nice rustic feel and added to the theme.
Caitlin | Senior Portraits at Airfield Falls
This was my first time to shoot at this location. Although it was hot and humid we had a great time and some fabulous light. I did many of Caitlin’s friends from the Keller area senior sessions and she wanted a quick session with me as well. Although she already had session portraits done, I was honored when she wanted another session with me.
Mary's Senior Session at the Beautiful Bridlewood Equestrian Center
Not only was Bridlewood gorgeous, but we also took photos in her own backyard which is like stepping into a park. We started out with portraits of just Mary and Mary with her dogs at her Flower Mound home before heading out to do equestrian portraits with her 3 horses at Bridlewood Equestrian Center.
