Grace's Senior Pictures With Her Charolais

We split Grace’s photo session up into 2 separate sessions. We originally had it scheduled in early spring, but when she found out that one of her show cows was going to be sent to the breeders we moved part of the session to January. It was cold, but Grace never missed a beat. I was all bundled up and kept asking her if she wasn’t too cold and she always said she was fine. We took the cattle photos at her FFA barn and I set up a mini studio in the barn isle. That way we said out of the wind for a majority of the session. She suggested Downtown Carrollton for the second session and I discovered a really cool park close by, which I got lost going to. Didn’t realize the street had an east & west and of course I entered the wrong one. When I got to where my GPS took me, I found an large vacant lot. Oops!

Olivia's Senior Session, Lots of Pretty Flowers and a Beautiful Creek

I have been doing photos for Olivia’s family for several years now. Her father runs a Thoroughbred Racing Partnership and I started doing some promo photos at Lone Star Park for them. I also did her older sister’s senior portraits and have done family photos too. When Olivia applied to be one of my High School models, I was happy to make her one of my selections. One of the perks of being a TCP model is they get 2 different sessions. We did her 1st session at the Dallas Arboretum, which was the same location we did her sister’s a few years before. The second was at one of my favorite locations; Stone Creek Park in Flower Mound.

Claire | Keller Senior Photographer | Flower Mound | Stone Creek

We took Claire’s senior pictures at one of my favorite locations, Stone Creek Park in Flower Mound, Texas, I love this spot as it is always a little different. The water levels are always changing and it gives it a different appearance each time. It is one of the few water locations I know of that I am not worried about snakes. It is a very popular location which keeps the snakes away. We did several outfits in the water and then when it got to dark we move to the lawn area. She worn a dress from my collection, that I thought would look lovely in the setting. The rocks can be very slippery and Claire found one, she slipped and fell,. She didn’t hurt herself or get her hair or makeup wet, but the bottom of the dress was pretty wet. I told her since it was wet she had to options to stay where she was and sit in the water with the dress one or change. Her eyes lit up and was all for the sitting in the water. I applaud her because I know that water was cold. I had rubber boots on and I could feel the coldness as i stood in the water.

Caitlyn | Allen Senior Portraits | Horse and Rider Photography

Caitlyn provided me with plenty of laughs during her session,  her fun personality gave me plenty of "bloopers" for the day as well as the laughs.  Her mom would say, that is so her! Don;t get me wrong, the girl also knows how to work the camera!  We started her senior portrait session where she keeps her horse, Winston.  A tall chestnut Off the Track Thoroughbred (OTTB) who also has a personality to match his owner. Together they compete in local Hunter-Jumper shows.  We gave Winston a break from "modeling" and headed to historic downtown McKinney for a second location. We then later returned tothe stables Princetonwhere we did some dramaticdusk images with Winston & Caitlyn.
