Blog: sessions, travel, education and more
Bailey & Pepper | Byron Nelson High School | Senior Photographer
Despite the wind and the 1st cold snap of the season, Bailey had a great session. So much personality and energy! We did her most of her session in Argyle at her trainers where her horse, Pepper is kept before moving to Lantana for some photos without her horse.
Brittany Russel | Arizona Equine Photographer | Cave Creek
On a recent trip to Arizona, in between photoshoots I would go hiking, I discovered Cave Creek Regional Park on one of these hikes and new immediately that I wanted to do a photoshoot their. I was already talking to Brittany about doing an equestrian model shoot and told her I found a great location. She brought Halo, a beautiful APHA mare by The Mechanic. A person walking their dog on the trail stop and watched the photoshoot and told us that was the prettiest horse she has ever seen.

Katie, Mercedes & Cutie | Pilot Point Texas | Equine Photographer
This was my second time to photograph Katie with her horse, but was at her trainer's new location. We started early in the morning and had some great light, but as the morning went on, it became overcast. Katie did great and the outfits she wore gave an nice soft look that worked great with an overcast day so it all worked out fine. Katie will be competing at the APHA World Show this fall under the guidance of Jacque Kennon Show Horses.

Hannah | Senior 2017 | Weatherford Texas | Equine Photographer
I photographed Hannah and her horse Inviting Rumors "Shea" at Dry River Ranch in Weatherford Texas and rides under the guidance of Stephen Stevens and Terry Cross . Like many spring days in Texas, it was windy and humid. Hannah & Shea where great and handled it will. Hannah will be attending University of Georgia in the fall where she will be part of their Equestrian Team. Hannah asked the photos to show how much she loves Shea. She made it easy, as they obviously have a great horse-human bond with each other.
