Sierra | Senior Portraits | Mounted Archery | North Texas Equine Photographer

All I can say is Wow!  I was so impressed with Sierra and her horse Nike. To ride a horse at a gallop and to shoot an arrow at the same time is quite a talent.  I can only image the amount of time it took to train a horse and how much practice.  She made it look easy and I definitly  will be attending if they have any mount shooting in the North Texas area or even close by.

Sierra wore several cute outfits.  She is attending West Texas A&M in the fall and wore a dress in a color to signify that as well as her boots with the WTAMU logo.  Loved her Glam & Grit hat that matched her turquios shirt perfectly.  It even had a buffalo on it which is her college choice's mascot. Her 3rd outfit was in her beautiful prom dress.  I just love prom dress and horses toether in portraits. Lastly she wore one of her mounted archery outfits.

Rileigh | Argyle Texas Senior | Equine Photographer

To beat the brutally hot Texas summer day, we did Rileigh's session at sunrise.  Sunrise session can be hit or miss on what type of sky you can get.  It was a hit for her session and we had some beautiful colors. Rileigh's main horse was Texas so the main part of her session was taken with him, but she still wanted some photos with her other horses, Tess & Manny.
Rileigh attends Argyle High School where she plays volleyball. Her mom who is a professional stylist, did her hair & makeup. Loved this session!

Justine & Alexa | Sisters & Equestrians | Senior Portraits | Aubrey Texas

This session was a mixture of several different sessions.  We did Alexa's senior portraits, since her sister; Justine did not have senior portraits done, so we also did some of her.  We also combined a family session in as well.  The location of the shoot was at one of my favorite North Texas Ranches, XO Ranch in Aubrey Texas.  Both girls are accomplished equestrians, one with a little more western style and the other competes in eventing. Alexa had a beautifully marked APHA named Razzle and Justine had a sorrel AQHA named Tyler.

Hannah | Senior 2017 | Weatherford Texas | Equine Photographer

I photographed Hannah and her horse Inviting Rumors "Shea"  at Dry River Ranch in Weatherford Texas and rides under the guidance of Stephen Stevens and Terry Cross .  Like many spring days in Texas, it was windy and humid. Hannah & Shea where great and handled it will. Hannah will be attending University of Georgia in the fall where she will be part of their Equestrian Team. Hannah asked the photos to show how much she loves Shea.  She made it easy, as they obviously have a great horse-human bond with each other.
